Chapter Summary / Overview (āĻŽূāϞ āĻাā§ą)

"A Visit to Kaziranga" is an exciting story about a young girl named Ruby and her memorable trip to the Kaziranga National Park with her parents. Unable to sleep the night before due to excitement, she starts her journey early in the morning from Guwahati. They pass by the beautiful sceneries of Jakhalabandha and Burhapahar before reaching Kohora, the central range of Kaziranga.

During their afternoon jeep safari, Ruby learns an important lesson about staying quiet in the forest so as not to scare the animals. She spots a herd of swamp deer, majestic one-horned rhinoceroses, a cute rhino calf, elephant calves, and beautiful birds like pelicans. The highlight of the trip is when they spot a tiger resting peacefully under a tree, fulfilling her mother's dream as a wildlife photographer. Ruby returns home extremely happy with wonderful memories.
