"Holi, the Festival of Colour" is a delightful chapter that captures the excitement of three friends—Riddhi, Beli, and Arki—as they discuss their plans for the upcoming Holi holidays. While Riddhi initially plans to visit Shillong and Arki intends to celebrate locally with friends, Beli eagerly shares her special tradition of visiting Barpeta. She enthusiastically explains the unique customs of "Doul Utsav," a grand celebration specific to Barpeta that lasts for three to five days.

The lesson highlights the rich cultural heritage of Assam, focusing on the traditions of the Kirtan Ghar. During Doul Utsav, idols of Mahaprabhu Doul Govinda and Kalia Thakur are brought out with grand processions accompanied by traditional Gayan-Bayan and Holi Geet. The chapter beautifully concludes with a description of "Suveri," the final day filled with colorful phaku and immense joy, leaving Riddhi eager to join Beli in Barpeta to experience the magical celebration.
