The phrase "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again" is one of the most famous proverbs in the English language, and it was made popular by this very poem written by W. E. Hickson!

'Tis a lesson you should heed,

এইটো এটা শিক্ষা যিটো তুমি মনোযোগ দিয়া উচিত,

Try again;

পুনৰ চেষ্টা কৰা;

If at first you don't succeed,

যদি প্ৰথমতে তুমি সফল নোহোৱা,

Try again;

Then your courage should appear,

তেতিয়া তোমাৰ সাহস প্ৰকাশ পাব লাগে,

For if you will persevere,

কাৰণ যদি তুমি অহৰহ চেষ্টা কৰি থাকা,
