Did You Know? (āĻ•িāĻŦা āϜাāύাāύে?)

Chimpanzees are one of our closest living relatives in the animal kingdom. They share about 98.8% of their DNA with humans, which is why their actions, like peeling a banana, look so much like ours!

📖 Quick Chapter Summary

In this interesting lesson, a young girl named Jharna goes to the zoo with her father. She sees many animals, but she is most amazed by two chimpanzees because their actions look just like humans. Her father then tells her the fascinating story of our early ancestors (primitive people). He explains how early humans lived in jungles like animals, but slowly used their intelligence and thinking ability to build houses, grow crops, and start human civilization.
